Armando Becris Bio

Armando Becerril, Who signs his name "Becris" was born in Tijuana, Mexico in 1955. Since the age of thirteen, he became interested in drawing and enjoyed public recognition. He started reproducing the old Masters paintings. At the age of 17 he felt a desire to study color, he went to Mexico City, where he studied art in the National Academy of Arts "San Carlos". Now after fine tuning his talent for more than 35 years he celebrates his love and dedication to the Arts by painting Mexco as it is from 1972 to present.

Some of his paintings also have been acquired by private collectors in serval countries around the World. Among these we can mention the celebrated movie director and producer James Cameron.

In painting like in life there is a continous process of creation, always intimate and free, the invites to reflection and exploration of the emotions and passions leaves its essence in each layer of time.

Although Becris has his own Art Studio "Sol Rojo" his work is collected and sold by the Finest Art Galleries in Northern Baja California. It is a pleasure and an honor to have Armando Becerril "Becris" in our Art community and we hope that he continues to create his beautiful works of Art.
